SXDE (Solaris Express, Developer Edition) is Solaris, 2008.11 is
OpenSolaris. They are two different Operating Systems and you cannot
update one to the other. Suggest you either update to the current
SXDE (nv104) or copy out /export to an archive device and do a clean
install of OpenSolaris (assume you want to reuse the space /export is
using).
