I don't know about 2008/11, but I'm happily running /05 in VBox, both on my MacOSX and snv_97 systems (yup, the latter is a bit of a mind bender :-) You can download a (4.5Gb) preinstalled vbox image from the BackToSchool DVD that has /05 + updated IPS + studio + soffice + netbeans...) from http://dlc.sun.com/osol/opensolaris/2008/05/OpenSolaris_2008.05-05b.vdi.gz -John
