That one has been fixed in build 71, so setting compression=on should work for a zfs root. If you set compression=gzip, you would still get the "Error 16: Inconsistent filesystem structure", though. (Workaround would be to mount the zfs root, set compression=lzjb and rewrite the /platform/i86pc/kernel/$ISADIR/unix and /platform/i86pc/$ISADIR/boot_archive file) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
