One person sent me private mail that he'd had trouble building the
tools, which he'd tried on Solaris 10. Which of course reminded me that
there is a dependency which was not called out in the instructions I
posted the other night. I've updated the instructions on the page, with
the following addition:
You must be running a recent build of OpenSolaris (at least ONNV
build 27), as there are dependencies on the zones libraries
which will not resolve on older builds or Solaris 10 releases.
Generally, when building the Install consolidation for Solaris
deliveries, we use a very recent ON build; officially, it's within the
last two builds, though in reality the window of builds which will work
is usually much wider than that.
As we go forward, we will announce any updates to the build dependencies
and update the instructions accordingly.
Of course, if you do run into any problems, post your questions here.
