We installed OpenSolaris 2008.11 on VMware Infrastructure version 2.5 and everything seemed okay until we tried to open the console. About a minute after the console opens in text mode asking for user and password, every key press displays garbage characters on the screen. If we're really fast we can get a login but before we can check anything the console starts expanding and contracting and everything that's typed is displayed as garbage.
