Can you do the following and see whether you can get more data:

In order to help you to proceed with the installation and
track down the issue you are encountering, could you
please attach /tmp/install_log after running the installer
from terminal window with debug mode enabled ?

$ export LS_DBG_LVL=4
$ pfexec /usr/bin/gui-install

Also, after installation fails, could you please attach
output of following commands  ?

# df -h
# zpool list
# zpool status
# zfs list
# zfs mount
# iostat -En
# fdisk -W - c3d0p0    <---- c3d0p0 is just an example, you can run 
format and figure out the disk device
# prtvtoc /dev/rdsk/c3d0s2    <---- same here
