Hi David, it seems you are hitting following issue:
6711786 fdisk(1M) refuses to modify a partition with -F, impacting opensolaris. Then installer reports failure when it tries to mark Solaris partition 'active' at the end of the installation. That said, looking at your partition configuration, it seems that your Solaris partition was already set as active, so the failure should be harmless.
