thanks for all your input - it more or less confirmed what I have managed
to find out so far. Unfortunately.
I have already done the S10 --> SXCE upgrade with LU more or less successfully -
it just can't handle the new device naming (bootpath in bootenv.rc, /dev, ...)
so it requires some manual adjustments before working properly - like running
devfsadm from a safe boot of SXCE.
Guess I will have to try another approach, and try to skip LU completely and
try to make a file system copy with ufsdump/restore and then try make it
boot properly. Good thing I have virtual machines to test this on... :)
