So here we say "Gesehn, gelacht, F8" (somethin like 'seen, laughed, F8' - ACK to Norton Commander ;-)). My "best practice" tip: Use firefox (etc.) to navigate to the download page, check the accept button and than use lynx for download. (Just in case: right mouse button to copy link from firefox, and in gnome-terminal: lynx '$press middle mouse button' ;-) )... This way I've 3 streams with ~ 3 .. 3.5 MiB/s Ohh BTW: thanx a lot SUN, for improving download server services/bandwith (would be nice, if the patch servers could provide such a good service as well ...)!
