A suggestion: include the relevant download name in the md5sum 
filename.  For example, instead of: "md5sum_dvd_x86.list", use: 
"sol-nv-b70b_md5sum_dvd_x86.list" - or something similar.  That way, 
if you archive the downloads in the same directory, you won't 
overwrite the older md5sum_dvd_x86.list with the current one - and you 
can always verify any iso you have archived before you do something 
with it using:

grep 1c2e8f1d0fb2f2efd5315eac55abf076 *md5sum*
