The question asked was about a liveCD. To me, a liveCD is a piece of media which boots and provides an interactive experience which mimics what one would find if they installed the media. That's very different from a rescue cd (though you can generally use a liveCD as a rescue cd). I believe we've talked (though not at length) about allowing a 'drop to shell' option on the SPARC media that contains the text installer. That would probably allow some rescue type functions. -- Glenn
