Thanks. While live CD is a nice to have option, bootable CD is more of a necessity. I had hard time trying to install OpenSolaris on a SPARC machine using autoinstall. Just connected Sun Blade 2500 to another x86 machine with OpenSolaris using a crossover cable. x86 has DHCP and autoinstall server set up, and some fake static IP assigned to it. However I wasn't sure what to set for default gateway, so I set the same IP for it. However when I boot up Sun Blade and make "boot net:dhcp" it doesn't find a server for some reason. Something is probably messed up, but I'm not sure what. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
