I was concerned by this since gem_eio targets the code being changed. In particular, I was concerned that this was bringing back the snb gem_eio nightmare (where we would take out the machine). However, running locally and looking at the previous CI results doesn't show that this is a persistent problem, so I think this failure was a fluke. That isn't to say that there isn't something weird happening on snb, but I don't think it's any weirder than normal.
