Hey everyone, I recently did a "custom" install of Win7 on my WinXP SP3 hoping that it would fix my random FPS drops in a game called S4 League.
In which I came to find out that it didn't do anything to help me with my situation. Yes, I also downloaded the Alpha modded drivers for Win7 and I have Intel 945. I also even have the GMA booster software + Game Booster xD.. So yeah, my situation is the game would run totally fine at the beginning running a constant 25-40FPS depending on what things are going off (which 25+ is playable and doesn't have any slow downs). But after maybe 10 minutes? My FPS would drop down to 5-10 and stays that way for a good few minutes then jumps back up and repeats. Even if my laptop isn't running any other processes. Would you guys know why? The laptop is pretty old, maybe 4 or 5 years old, but runs games better then my new laptop ><; (Yes I know games shouldn't be played on one, but I can't afford a computer right now) Anyways, other misc information are: I am running the game in full screen (even in window it does it) and have the game on the lowest settings.
