here's where to get many codecs :D http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm <<<this is for K-lite...get the FULL version..install it, and during the installation...you'll be giving a drop-down menu to chose ur installation type...just chose the last one i think "profile 7: Lots of stuff" and just click next...you'll be presented with some other options to tick for installation...something like shortcuts...quicklaunch...and if am not mistaken, an option to reset every codec to their default values :) so if u want Media player classic's icon on ur desktop, tick "desktop" and so on...the rest of the option should be left as they are..unless u wanna go thro'em ;) ...click next, and something else will come-up...sorry i don't have the installer atm...but this is from wht i remember :) keep on clicking next until u see install :D ...and that should be it..try watching the movie again..and hopefully its better this time :)
