Seriously, someone give Angelic a big round of applauses... or at least a 1 year supply of pizza rolls. Right now I'm typing on a spanking new V1.1 install which on a few directdraw tests performs better than sigma 3.1. Still have to test direct3d, but for now things seem good. Out of curiosity, what significant changes were made when installing the driver through this alternate way? And there's this thing that bothers me, after uninstalling the previous driver and installing V1.1 all my CP settings were saved, perhaps due to me not cleaning the reg after uninstalling the previous drivers.
Oh, the oddest thing happened with your drivers, and I say it was your drivers because I haven't changed anything, neither software nor hardware. My hdd rating on the wei went from 5.0 to 5.7! And I know wei sometimes changes its values, from what I heard, but it never happened to me in vista or 7.
