I was just wondering.. Right before I play a game, should I turn off all visual effects such as aero to improve gaming performance? I realized that sometimes it improves performance for some games by a few fps. What do you guys do to improve performances for games, besides tuning down graphics and md's? Pls make it general, don't just say it only works for source games or such :p
