I've been playing games just fine on the 950 here. All I want really
is to be able to A) Play Halo CE on highest. and B) play morrowind
with more than 5 foot draw distance. If I can play some newer games on
mid/high or low/mid settings, thats a plus.

And it may be a typo, but on a Gateway laptop which has this card, it
says the card has 256 dedicated. I always get wildly different results
from what Notebookcheck says I *should* be getting, so I don't trust
them too much anymore.

Specs on the one I'm looking at(why is it so hard to find a dual-core
these days?)

Gateway
AMD Athlon II X2 @ 2.3GHz
4GB of DDR3 RAM
320GB 5400RPM SATA HDD
ATI Radeon HD 4250 with (supposedly, other LTs have shared mem with
this card) 256mb dedicated
Win7 64-bit

all this compared to my current one:

Toshiba
Intel Core Duo @ 1.6 Ghz
2GB of DDR2
80GB 5400RPM SATA HDD
GMA 950 with v1.1E
Win7 32-bit
