just cause 2 is DX11? i thought it was DX10 only?

anyway most of the post above got point,
- get at least next gen multi core CPU (Athlon 2, Core Duo) well, it's not
future proof, but it should serve u for several years (my core Duo still up
and running till now)
- get at least 2gb RAM (which apparently most of laptops sold now with 4GB
RAM)

now for the GPU..
 - ATI...i agree with hussam and tribaljet, getting a class 2 mobility GPU
(u can check it on notebookcheck) or upper class 3 doesnt hurt if u want tit
to serve u for several years.
 - Nvidia Mobile cards are mostly more costly.
 - go for ATI Mobility HD 4650 and above is highly recommended (and it's
mostly best buy too)

some best mobile GPU up to date (and with budget in mind)
 - Nvidia GT 330 M
 - ATI Mobility HD 4650
 - Nvidia 9600M GT
 - and etc..
