Inspired by brother Namige request I thought to open a new thread
about the things you need to know when you buy a new pc like warranty
conditions, past experiences with customer support and all those
litttle advices that can actually be usefull and save you a lot of
troubles in case things with your new machine go wrong.
I ask your help brothers in order to keep this page updated and
corrected. Feel fre to add any suggestion.
I also ask to the moderators to make this page "open" allowing
everyone to update it ( I don't know how to do it)
So let's start:

ITALY:
-When buying always ask if there's the possibility to extend warranty
(usually 2->4 years with a small fee) this is useful for notebooks
since they are exposed to major threat due to usage and dimensions.

-Legal warranty is at least of 2 years: 1 from the seller and 1 from
the producer, so if something happens in the first year of life you
have to ask the place where you bought it and they MUST give you the
necessary assistance for free. If something happens during the second
year you have to contact the producer and ask how they intend to
proceed (usually they give you the adress of the nearest assistance
center and you have to send the pc or take it there at your own
expenses).

-It is very important to keep the bill in a safe place as it is needed
for warranty (remember not to place it in a hot place like a moneybag
for a long time or it wil become unreadable due to heat )

-You also have to keep all the original packaging both as a proof of
buying and as a protection since when you take the pc to the
assistance (or when they come at home to take it away as a service )
they take it "as it is" without storing it in a safe place so you risk
to get it damaged during transport.

-Last but not least remember that it is useless to flame with the poor
shop assistant (he actually can do barely nothing especially if he's
working for a big seller) the only thing he can do is to replace your
machine with another one.

Please guys help me completing this with the rules of your countries,
also remember I'm not a lawyer so if I'm wrong please correct me
