It's recommended you choose a popular motherboard manufactuer, such as
Gigabyte, Asus, and etc, but first you want to decide what you want in
terms of CPU/Chipset, like AMD or Intel. But even before that, you
might want to decide if you would want to run OS X on it or not. So if
your wanting to run OS X, I'd say go with a Gigabyte board with Intel
CPU/Chipset.

I recommend finding a mobo that has a BIOS that is UEFI-complaint
since UEFI is BEAST compared to BIOS (imagine BIOS, with a GUI and
mouse support, plus the ability to instant-boot OS's pretty much).
