I mostly agree with you MAD_BEAST in regards to laptops (Alienware machines really packs a punch, more than most Macs), but when it comes to desktops, I strongly suggest building your own machine with parts picked by yourself, if you have the knowledge for that. If not then go for pre-built gaming systems like Alienware and Dell's XPS, real gaming machines, instead of regular brands like HP, Acer and other vendors.
