Hey guyz, Long time no see I've played finish the campaign of Starcraft 2 (setting was all low but the model and movie detail is high, 3D portrait (it's a must when play in campaign), and reflection turn on) some mission were a horror because of the FPS hit in some part (2-7fps) but nevertheless, i was able to play finish all the mission ( and i mean all 29/29 including the secret and protoss mission) The Skirmish performance was quite ookay i guess but still massive FPS hit when there's many thing going on especially when playing as protoss (when u're building many phylon) I was using the '9xx Soldiers sans frontiers Alpha1' modded driver
Now im using 'V1.2 Ultimate Graphics "Sherry" Alpha' modded driver and i've notice some graphical eye candy gain, the Protoss's Nexus building finally has glow effect when u build probes O.O! im not sure whether there's performance gain or not, but it's still laggy and slowdowns alot when there's alot happening. P.S. I'm stil tweaking the variable.txt config to provide both nice performance while maintain that eye candy graphics. P.S. I'm a starcraft fanatic since brood war expansion release way way back P.S. I found that AngelicTears laptop spec is same as mine 100% similiar (except my ram is 1GB DDR2 kingston x2) o___o -- 9xx SOLDIERS SANS FRONTIERS
