i thank u Zentradis, it's true what espi said, no one ever brought this up... there are many point that i would stress out here..
1. on the slide, u can see that slide no. 9 that intel them self said that they will continue to to increase the max limit of DVMT, so im assuming that it can be done within the driver itself and not hardware wise or BIOS editing..which i didnt know until i've read the slides... 2. i also assuming that SWVP uses SSE2 or SSE3 as main compute thread as the slide said that it will increase performance with Core 2 Duo or Quad..it's kinda new to me, as most of my drivers take advantage of MMX and SSE2..i never tried to optimize it for SSE3..i will try and see what i can do on my upcoming release. and much more to explain... again i thank u for the slides,,this my friend can bring much more improvements on current MD technology.. cheers ^^ On Thu, Sep 2, 2010 at 4:28 PM, Espionage724 <[email protected]> wrote: > wish I had openoffice or something to view this lol.
