hey guys, been a little while since Ive actually created a new post
here but i just couldn't pass up the opportunity to tell you guys
about this.

okay heres the story, I was on steam one fine morning browsing the
news columns and seeing if anything new had popped up when i noticed a
new article about Fallout New Vegas. Intrigued as i was i decided to
read more, there was an external link to a website called kotaku (Ive
heard of them before) so i promptly clicked on it to be greeted by a
malicious website warning page from Google stating that this website
contains Malware and i should not visit it for fear of contracting
AIDS or something. "Hmmmm" i thought, "i highly doubt that steam would
link to a malicious webpage within their own client" so i decided to
proceed. The webpage loaded as usual but it was then i noticed
something was not right for a small box in the middle of the screen
showing a loading bar for a unknown installation. "lol, its all right"
it thought "my antivirus will rape this one hard" only to remember at
that exact moment that my antivirus was off since the last time i was
playing COD 6 online "oh shit...."

it to be rather amusing haha.

(oh yeah for anyone who doesn't know, Antivirus 2010 is a malicious
piece of software that tricks entry level user's into thinking its an
actual antivirus that is beneficial to the system before installing
more malicious software on the zombified PC, it can be executed and
installed just by visiting a webpage)
