It's cool man :) It's more like famous but not for the best reasons ;) The only problem that win98se really had was the memory handling, since it's swapfile management wasn't nearly as good as the nt counterpart. Win2000 kicked some serious ass, and if it had a task manager I wouldn't have moved to that f#cking pos that was xp. And yes, I only found out MUCH later about the task manager replacements. After all, there is something to be said about win2000 having versions that could require a computer to have 512mb ram to work properly, while xp required 128, but I'm talking about very different OSes, and it's not because it requires more or less resources that it's better.
