I don't think I made myself clear the first time. Vista/7 home premium IS NOT faster than ultimate version. If I would recommend ultimate for everyone? No, only for those who actually use the extra things that ultimate has. Truth be told, ultimate is the real windows 7, as all other versions are just handicapped versions with lower prices to sell better. Being the version that has it all, ultimate can easily be configured to run faster than home basic. My 20 years handling computers have taugh me a bit of everything, and alot about wrong things to think and do. Vista/7 home premium is as good as ultimate for computers with more than 2GB of ram. Again, STOP SPREADING BAD INFO.
