come on guys... court order! :P

well, i can clear out for u guys...
well, im not an expert but i can tell u the difference..

ultimate and home premium is indeed have several differences...
but basically both are the same, it is true that Home Premium or other
version of 7 is a handicapped version of ultimate, BUT that doesnt make it
"lighter" than ultimate...
windows sold them cheap because of its lack of compatibility parts /
service,

i believe when a person using Home Premium for example, and he / she install
all the basic "must have" application / service such as .NET 4, VC Runtime,
and other DirectX or networking service, the Home premium it self will
eventually became "Ultimate" with all that add on installed...most of users
dont realize that over 6 month of time, a win7 Home premium will become
ultimate with upgrades / add on and compatibility windows upgrade..it's
nothing any difference between both, unless u said 7 Starters vs Hmoe
premium / ultimate, that my friend is a whole new discussion...even games do
require microsofts addon suc as DirectX update, VC runtime and stuffs like
that which Ultimate already have...so there's no difference when Home have
been installed with all that upgrade...

also to say that Ultimate is faster than Home is not entirely correct, yes
indeed it start faster than Ultimate, no doubt about that, but a mere
difference of 2 - 3 seconds in term of clean install boot up of both win7
version...but for every day usage, both are the same, win7 core have been
optimized for performance, and design for a complete noob end users..meaning
the service will actually turn off automatically with having users to
disable / stop the service...and win7 core actually learns users
requirements of service to use and what dont use regularly...

as for eye candy, both are the same, not any different imo, both have
Aero...the only difference (correct me if im wrong ) is the wallpaper.. :P

as i said, both have good and bad , i myself havent use anything than
Ultimate , mainly because of its compatibility, most parts of "service"
already there so i dont have to worry a bit about installing anything and
downloading from microsoft or Microsoft update (despite i have a pirated
one)

as for performance, meh, my family desktop have Home Premium, so far there's
no difference between both..although i hate when i installed new application
on that Home system, mainly there's too much download ( updates and stuffs)

as for security, meh, both are the same... im using Microsoft Security
Essential 2.0 ( @tribaljet, sorry for ditching Kaspersky, truly sorry :( i
have to try MSE and for a while it is veery3 good :) no false alert and 98%
accurate, even both ESET and Kaspersky dont even detect :) )
and both perform fine, and like i said, boot up time only difference aobut 2
-3 second...i guess...so as far as i notice,, it's the same for me...

im just saying my opinion, both have their good and bad...and am not
offending anyone :)
