Welcome to the group bro :)

i can only answer some of ur question... and here it goes...

as far as netbook support for Sherry 1.2 driver, so far, it is uncertain and
some of the user claim that it works, while others dont...also it only
support win7 and vista..
.
as for the upgrade from XP to 7, it is obviously ur choice, but here, most
driver support are for win7, and im not sure yet whether we will continue
making new project for XP driver or no, it's up to MAD_BEAST, our glorious
leader here :)

better drivers for win7 really is a though question, some users prefer alpha
driver ( by MAD_BEAST) and some prefer using the V series either V1.0 , V1.1
or Sherry 1.2 (by AngelicTears) and some prefer XP 1.2 drivers (by KingPin),
u can try and experiments and see what drivers suits u best..

gaming on Atom isnt preferably the best experience in gaming, but it should
be enough for older games and stuffs...also our drivers doesnt for gaming
only, video playback, flash performance and overall system performance are
effected when using our drivers ..so, in a simpler way of saying ,our
drivers are the best compared to intel stock drivers :)
