Triblajet, Thanks for the reply!
First off, here are my specs: [CPU] Intel Atom N280 1.6Ghz --> Overclocked to 1.8Ghz (using setfsb) [GPU] Intel 945GME [RAM] 2GB [OS] Windows XP Home sp3 [TYPE] Asus 1000HE eeepc netbook Secondly, this netbook is 2 years old, and I *can* buy win7 and install it on this netbook, but it came with Win XP home on it, and I figured I would try to install drivers for XP since that's what is on it and see how that is. Also, the only reason I would upgrade to Win7 is for some sort of performance boost, and I know that at least for this netbook, not using any modded drivers or anything, win7 decreases performance slightly. If there were modded drivers which offered a significant performance boost to counteract that, though, then I would upgrade to 7. I have no loyalty to XP or anything, I just heard that it was the best OS for this netbook, that's why I haven't upgraded. Thanks for your help so far!
