Performance wise, 945GME has basically the same performance as 945GM, which is the main 945 mobile chipset. Honestly, I think it's strange that netbooks came later on with 945GSE, which is a much weaker chipset, only supporting 2GB max ram in single channel only, along with a slower igp.
