@tribal Yes it is another of those '1 click optimizers' and yes you could return better results by tuning the OS yourself, but the main thing is that its works, is free, and is user friendly for the not so computer literate user........or just the user that is too busy to take the time to do it.

It's a bit vague to say you have a dual core 1.73GHz. Having vista, upgrading to windows 7 is the logical step to take, it's superior to vista in just about every way, you won't regret it at all.
