lol, yeah, the NewDec drivers... all goes well actually, the thing that i have the most trouble with is the 64 bit version... and as well making something that is good to a great thing isnt easy either... the netbook support is the tricky part , as i said, writing the inf from scratch do take some time but nothing is impossible :) some feature i have been experimenting is to manipulate the built in windows inf installation read method ( implies both manual and setup.exe install) to actually allows users to choose 1 from the 3 drivers bundled in one package, for example, users can select to install Sherry 1.2 for 945, or NewDec 1.0 for GME/GSE from the installation screen :)
if , and only if i manage to actually release the final Sherry 1.2 version, i may can combine both NewDec and the " secret project " into the Sherry driver, thus making a 3 in 1 release without violating anything :) On Wed, Jan 12, 2011 at 4:19 AM, tribaljet <[email protected]> wrote: > That situation looks a bit muddy, and I am expecting some > clarification on the matter, as I've yet to have read anything > objective about the subject. > As far as I remember, you have at least two projects going on, one of > them quite important to me :) How's the progress so far? > > On 12 Jan, 12:14, AngelicTears <[email protected]> wrote: > > @ Robert > > > > good call on upgrading to 7, highly recommended.. :) > > and all the best tweaking ur system, i do have the same model as urs but > > with a t2300E 1.67GHz dual core cpu and only 1gb of ram, nonetheless it > ran > > smooth as silk :) > > > > @ others > > > > hmm, sorry to bump in, but do i have some copyright trouble on releasing > the > > final version of Sherry 1.2? it seems that MB do prevent me from > releasing > > another version of drivers but Sherry 1.2 is still Sherry 1.2 even if i > > release the final version.. i am bored with nothing to do , really wish > to > > release any update any of my projects :( > > > > On Wed, Jan 12, 2011 at 3:52 AM, Robert Whitis <[email protected] > >wrote: > > > > > Thanks for everything, I think 7 is going to find it's way onto this > > > desktop quite soon (tomorrow haha).
