Exactly.

Folding@Home FAQs explicitly say that for older(read slower) machines,
and even most of the users, should use the default settings. I'm
already advising on increasing the Cpu Usage Priority, and the default
settings already use 75% of the system resources.

It's wrong to advise otherwise for people with our hardware.
