What? Don't use a Soft pillow! You need to use a paperweight or something
else that is non flammable and does not suffocate like all spongy objects
(ie cushions, Blankets, pillows, matts and anything else of the sort don't
use!).

Think about it, if it is capable of burning straight through a plastic
exteriour, imagine what it is going to do to a pillow. That's why it is
never advised to leave a laptop or netbook running on a bed or couch,
especially after that american lady had her house burn down because she let
her laptop sit on her couch charging while she wasn't home.

Either get that cooling pad, or put something under the backside (without
blocking any vents) of your netbook, so it kinda stays a bit raised in the
back, because it will allow better air ventilation ;-) A soft pillow will
do.
