What? Don't use a Soft pillow! You need to use a paperweight or something else that is non flammable and does not suffocate like all spongy objects (ie cushions, Blankets, pillows, matts and anything else of the sort don't use!).
Think about it, if it is capable of burning straight through a plastic exteriour, imagine what it is going to do to a pillow. That's why it is never advised to leave a laptop or netbook running on a bed or couch, especially after that american lady had her house burn down because she let her laptop sit on her couch charging while she wasn't home.
