Oh, I do have a pair of Philips SHP2000 myself, and while they're quite low end, they have a very pleasing sound, even if not detailed as higher end headphones. They cost 15-20$ I think, and I only use them rarely because of a wire issue. Thing is, I spent quite some years around music artists as well as producers, mainly out of sheer curiosity and interest in audio, which along with a relatively accurate ear that I have, made me look for better and better quality. I'm kinda up to date when it comes to audio news, as along with 9xxSSF, Head-Fi is my second home :) You should definitely show up there and catch up on the news. If you do go there, PM me as I'd like to share one or two articles you might find interesting :D But you still haven't told me if you prefer a more neutral or colored sound. I mean, the dt990 do have quite some definition, which some tight bass to boot, but they're not fart cannons by any measure :) Were those headphones your first choice or did you consider others?
I gotta be honest, I'm not sure what metaxa is :) but bacardi does pack a nice punch, I do love me some bacardi lemon, vodka and real fruit juice, some whiskey when I'm feeling up to it, among a few other things. Though I've been very calm lately, maybe too calm, getting borderline wasted is always good to clean the pipes ;) On 23 Abr, 12:01, lolattheotherguy <[email protected]> wrote: > tribal I will try to be realistic then, and say noone should get worse > than my Philips SBC 200.
