The SNPP paging option should work on both classic Mac OS (including 7.5.5) and OSX. If email notification works, SNPP paging should work too.
-23008 is a MacTCP "connectionDoesntExist" error. If you see it, it would probably indicate a bug in InterMapper. What is the context of your question?
