Good ideas. Some of these are already scheduled for the next release, others may
have to wait for the following version.

I'm not sure how making the window printable solves the off-line maintenance
problem. But it sure seems as if tools for handling this information might be
useful. Suggestions are welcome.

You can already add comments to each map item (device and link) with
context/control-click. You can also add them from the Device/Network Info
window. These comments appear at the bottom of the popup window.

I agree with pre-acknowledgements. I've been thinking of it more as a
maintenance mode, that means "Don't send notifications for this device". You'd
use this for equipment that would be going down for maintenance, and which might
go up and down several times while you're working on it. After that time,

I'd never thought about it this way. Should the rollovers always appear? Is
there ever a time when they shouldn't appear?
