I would like to poll router's for BGP Peer State. I had thought I might be able to do this with a custom SNMP poll but it seems SNMP polling is limited to specific values. Is there any intention to enable custom-SNMP polls to be able to walk through tabled variables (specifically tables which don't increment uniformly but are indexed using, say, IP addresses)? Or is there some other way anyone can think of for me to achieve the same result?

We use the attached probe to monitor the BGP state for our Cisco and Juniper routers. Create one device on your map for each BGP peer that you want to monitor. The "NOLINKS" flag suppresses the polling for interface MIBs.
