New chart features look good. Here's what happened to me. I took a less important 
chart and clicked on each of the pop-ups at the bottom left. Because the chart was at 
the top of the screen, the mouse pointer was within each pop-up when it appeared, and 
so just clicking and letting go changed the chart appearance (I think this is an issue 
with 4.2 also). Worse though was that as the chart legend moved to the bottom of the 
chart, the data vanished. Also the legend had some text appended (couple of words I 
didn't note, sorry).

I quit 4.2.1b4 without saving that map and restarted 4.2 and the data re-appeared 
(phew).

Running under OS X 10.3.4.
