Hi Doug- I've had the Remote Server feature running. I have another map full of nothing but two core WAN routers and a Map Status object for each of my district's schools. All of those objects correctly reflect the device conditions on the maps they represent. It only happens when I add new maps.
Per Bill Fisher's response, I assigned 127.0.0.1 to an ADMIN user instead of to another user account, and that appears to have worked! Thanks, Mark P. - Mark C. On the Mac, it's Edi t> Server Settings. Click the Start button underneath the "Remote Server Listening on Port 8181" heading. I had the same problem when I started trying to use map status probes. Hope this helps, Doug -- Doug Weathers, Network Administrator St. Charles Medical Center >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 11/03/2004 3:02:42 PM >>> Hello- I've got Map Status devices that point to open maps on the same InterMapper host. The problem I'm having is that InterMapper colors them orange (ALARM), and the "Result:" field says 'No such map: "<Map Name>" ' Also, the Map Status is incorrect, only showing orange even if there are WARNING or DOWN items on the map. Each Map Status probe uses the IP address "127.0.0.1" and a name and password that is associated with that IP address. The ironic thing is that when I double-click on the Map Status device, the correct Map window pops up! Thanks, Mark P. - Mark C.
