Even better,

Add a header in your php code that show Intermapper that PHP is actually executed.

You can even use an error handler in your php code, and output a comment just before closing </HTML>.

Like:

<!--PHP Executed witout errors-->
</HTML>

The set the HTML probe to look for "PHP Executed witout errors"

Nice, ehh?

Hi Toby,

When you specify the http probe you can enter a string to search for in the
string to verify field. If this string is not found the service/ server will
show as failed in InterMapper.

The string to search for should be something unique that you know will
appear in the php page. For example if it is displaying news content you may
want to search for the word news.
You shouldn't use items such as html as error pages will have these and
therefore the server will not appear to fail.

Dean

Hi all,

this might seem like a dumb idea - I would like to check if a
particular web server is up. Alas it has only PHP content.
im using the http probe in IM 4.2.2.
I get the 'Up' Response in the probe itself but it remains 'yellow'
on screen reporting Reason [HTTP] 400 Bad request (index.php)

What to do?

Thanks

Sincerely
