Hi Dean

the string I am searching for _IS_ already being found and the service _IS_ up. Yet the probe rather than being green is yellow with the error of "Reason [HTTP] 400 Bad request (index.php)". So its doing some silly http verification which I dont want.

Toby

Hi Toby,

When you specify the http probe you can enter a string to search for in the
string to verify field. If this string is not found the service/server will
show as failed in InterMapper.

The string to search for should be something unique that you know will
appear in the php page. For example if it is displaying news content you may
want to search for the word news.
You shouldn't use items such as html as error pages will have these and
therefore the server will not appear to fail.

Regards,
Dean
