Does IM/Dartware have a plan to correct this issue? We will be bringing 3 new
Intel XServes up and running here soon.

This next part is Off Topic but will the Lights-Out Management utility monitor
G5 Xserves?

Thanks

John

Subject: RE: [IM-Talk] Xserve Probe: Intel 10.4.8 says "Improperly formed data
in response."

Hi Jakob,

I don't know about the G5, but the new Intel Xserves feature "lights-out
management" which replaces the old Server Monitor daemon that was used by
the Xserve G5/Tiger InterMapper probes. The current Xserve probes do not
support the new monitoring protocol (IPMI) and will display the error that
  you are seeing.

  Anyone know why this happens?
