Changing to the SNMP MIB-II probe on one of our Dragonwaves causes the round-trip time to go from 842msec to 65msec, so there's definitely a difference.
I'd be happy to post the probe to the website. It's currently a work in progress (I'm working on some of the thresholds, so we can send notifications for alarms), but it works...
