Keeping maps synchronized on different InterMapper servers? We have two InterMapper servers that should have the same maps, settings and polling.
One is our main production server "intmap01a", the second is a server we are using to test alpha and beta versions on before we upgrade the production server, also we use the second server to test out configuration changes and new features. We would like to be able to synchronize the test server so that it has the same maps, settings... as the production server. Is this as simple as copying over directories and files? I need to make sure we don't copy over our license or certificates ... or IM will have problems with two servers running the same license. Do I need to shut down either server when doing the copy (if the way to do this is to copy folders and files)? I am guessing that I only need to shutdown the test server (where I am copying to) if this is the way to do it?
