I am assuming you went in and enabled reports. The first time you do so,
the database will load historical chart data from InterMapper. This can
result in a lot of I/O activity on the machine when reports is first
running. If you have a large IM installation, we recommend running the
database on a separate machine, or at least a separate disk controller.
L2 capability says it is a separate licence and see no settings
L2 has to be turned on in the Server Settings; there is no separate
license. If you are running on Linux, FreeBSD or Solaris, you must run
the separate InterMapper DataCenter installer.
