Greetings from John Bertoglio. A partial solution would be to utilize a
service like PayPal. They have very good interfaces that can talk to
virtually any online system. This is not for everyone but would be great for
those who already use this system.

I noticed that Rob Tweed is using a UK system that allows me to give him
money via the web (doing automated currency conversions).
