I work for a small County government in Pennsylvania. We use
InterSystems Cache 5.0 for all of our systems. I have been asked to find
several solutions that would work as seemlessly as possible with our current
inhouse systems.
These include NACHA file (Automated Clearing House) payments through our
bank (M & T). The bank needs to know if Cache can generate NACHA files.
Some departments are currently using Hyland OnBase Imaging systems with
a SQL database. This uses a special tiff format. This system and the Compnay
and VAR have proven to be next to impossible to work with when it comes to
interfacing this system with our Cache applications.
Some departments would also like to accept online payments from the
public using a shopping cart or similiar mechanism. The information would
come from and go back into our Cache systems. Some of the examples would be
licenses (Dog, Hunting, Games of Chance, etc.), delinquent tax collection,
images from civil court filings, Tax Collector remittances and other such
applications.
Does anyone know of currently running components or systems that
currently work with Cache to provide these services? I would like to find
various alternatives that would enable these functions. Thanks for any
information you can provide.
