Timur: I would suggest putting the file in the root directory of the FTP. I don't think it is possible to put a visible file when the dir is market no-view.
Something like: READ_CUSTOMER_INSTRUCTIONS.txt This would tell the customer how to move down to the next level. It would also contain general info about how to get into DISTRIB. It is somewhat counterintutuive to have to go into CUSTOMER/DISTRIB/ to download a new distribution. This small change would limit support calls. (Two from me. One to get the password and another to ask where the hell the DISTRIB dir went!.) I understand the need to suppress the dir structure. I always thought it was rather generous of ISC to expose all of its major customers in a FTP site. Anyway, thanks for all of the support on the NG. -- John Bertoglio Senior Consultant co-laboratory office: 503-538-8691 mobile: 503.330.6713 fax: 503.538.8691 www.co-laboratory.com "Timur Safin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > On 05.05.2004 1:24, John A.
